Our Story

Founded from a hospital room, not a boardroom.

Room for Healing was founded by Matt and Amariliz after an extended hospital stay with their young son during his treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive, high-risk form of leukemia. In those long, chaotic days and nights, they saw how quickly a room meant for healing could become cluttered and overwhelming.

This organization is what they built out of that experience — so other families don't have to figure it out alone.
